This book focused on the personal account of Karen Schlesinger and her husband as they venture to move from the continental United States to the tiny island of St. John United States Virgin Islands. It is interesting to read little tidbits on the St. John Trivia pages that proceeds the chapters and about how some people survive/live on the island. Even though their plans were to live in Paradise moving was not easy. But desire, perseverance and creativity paid off. It is easy reading and reads like real life drama. I would recommend it for anyone who is thinking of moving to St. John or any island. The joys and problems stated are some of the same problems found on other islands especially in the Virgin Islands. |
