It has been an interesting eleven years on the internet. We have grown by leap and bounds. Our objective to introduce Virgin Islands Culture to the world through photographs and information has been achieved. We have received many comments about our photographs and web site from around the world, which includes Virgin Islanders who have moved away. Virgin Islanders' express how homesick they are, however they are very happy we have kept them up to date on cultural events in the Virgin Islands through our website. Presently we have grown from a website into a professional photography studio - Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery, LLC located in the historic town of Frederiksted, St. Croix US Virgin Islands. We provide photography services for all occasions or "just because." Photographs are priceless possessions. Soon we will be offering photography workshops. We hope to continue for the next 25 years of spreading the true culture of the Virgin Islands in vibrant colors in the Virgin Islands and across the world! Homeland Collections is located in the beautiful United States Virgin Islands. The Virgin Islands is made up of four major islands: St. Croix, St. John, St. Thomas and our newest member - Water Island. Homeland Collections has been on the internet since December 1997. We share the culture of the Virgin Islands through this website. In addition, we carry a unique collection of Virgin Islands products, that has been favorites of the people in the islands for many years. We hope you buy a piece of the islands through this site. We have sold our products to people all over the world. The founder and web developer of Homeland Collections is Denise Bennerson, PhD award winning photographer. This website has been a labor of love. She enjoys sharing information about her homeland through books, photographs, cultural products and this website.
