Virgin Islands’ Business Reviews and Comments

Welcome to Virgin Islands’ Business Reviews and Comments  of businesses I have visited in the US Virgin Islands.  I have traveled to many places through out the world to name a few - ten beautiful countries in Europe ( I love Paris, London & Belgium, Denmark is nice too- Russia was interesting,) Ghana - Africa, South America, East and West Caribbean Islands, Canada, Hawaii and many other states within the Continental United States – north, south, east and west - too numerous to mention. I have been on many cruises to various places, some cruises were OK in service - others were great! I love to travel on a cruise.  I guess like to travel, period.  However, the place that I like best is here – at home - in historical and culturally aware - St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.   There is no place that compares to the beauty and charm of the island (and no passport required from continental US :-)

I decided to start Virgin Islands’ Business Reviews and Comments based on my personal experiences.  It will answer the question that many visitors and locals ask me, “Where is the business?” and “How was their services?”

Visiting the US Virgin Islands....Here are my reviews and comments on various businesses visited:

Spas

Denovo Spa D. has wonderful Spa services & relaxing ambience on St. Croix USVI.  I love their Eminence Facial & Therapeutic Full Body Massage by Charlene. It is like a healing mystical experience.  For a special time in your life  try the "Stone Therapy Message."

Restaurants

Elizabeth's at The Palms E.  at The Palms has a wonderful ambience with the Caribbean sea & palm trees in view and the sound of waves beating against the sandy shores. Jazzy Blue The One Man Band played some memorable music to sing or groove in your seat. The food was luscious.  I had one of the best Virgin Pina Coladas on St. Croix USVI (and I do try them where ever I go.) The bread & butter and Caesar's salad was appetizing.  The Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb with mashed potatoes served with string beans  & carrots was a treat ( it was one of the specials for the night.)  The dessert - a Coconut/Chocolate Pudding - more than satisfied my sweet tooth.  The food was great, but the service was not its best that night.  Event though the place was not full, the waitress  took a long time to take my order - until she reached back finally and said, "Sorry, now I'm all yours."  The guy who packed my leftovers, seemed to just dump it into the container. When he brought it back to the table it was dripping all over the one side.  I pointed it out to him and he took it back put it in another container - without the drips.  When he brought my desert - he kind of dump it on the table and I was left without a fork to eat.  I eventually had to call the waitress and ask her for a fork.  I have eaten there for lunch and I find the service is much better.   Even though the service was lousy on this night (I do like the food and the ambience) I will return for another evening meal and I hope I can report better service.
