Fine Art Exhibit: New in Print “Elegant St. Croix Caribbean Weddings” Magazine, 10 Ft. Bride and Groom Mocko Jumbies Unveiling and Other Local Artist

St. Croix, USVI, May 4, 2012: Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery is pleased to present St. Croix’s newest print wedding magazine “Elegant St. Croix Caribbean Weddings” in a Fine Art Exhibit on May 26, 27 and 28, 2012. In addition, Sandra Michael’s will launch her new line of 10 Ft. Bride and Groom Mocko Jumbies and Junie Bomba’s new Sculptured Shells. Other local artist will also exhibit at Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery at 16A Queen St., Frederiksted.
During a Private Reception on May 26, 2012 “Elegant St. Croix Caribbean Weddings” magazine, the 10 Ft Bride and Groom Mocko Jumbies, the new Sculptured Shells will be unveiled. The Exhibit is open to the public on May 27 and 28, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on both days.
Denise Bennerson PhD is the owner of Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery on St. Croix US Virgin Islands and announces the launch of their new print wedding magazine, “Elegant St. Croix Caribbean Weddings.” She stated that, the magazine is on-line at stcroixcaribbeanweddings.com. Now the magazine will be available to the public in print.” The magazine showcases the beautiful and elegant weddings held on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. It is the ultimate resource guide for brides and grooms, wedding coordinators and planners locally, nationwide, and internationally. The magazine offers resources and information for planning the simplest to the most exotic weddings.
“Elegant St. Croix Caribbean Weddings,” also showcases the island’s tropical surroundings, landmarks, and fauna, a magnificent addition to advertising the island as a top Caribbean destination for tourists. It will also feature the culture, people, music, and traditions of Weddings in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.
Bennerson publisher and photographer got the idea for creating the magazine after hearing the many stories from wedding couples about how stressful they were when planning a wedding. She has gained valuable information from many weddings and wedding providers that she shares in the magazine. The magazine also provides a platform for others to write about their experiences and expertise in the wedding industry. The magazine is free to the public and will soon be available on newsstands.
Denise Bennerson is owner and award winning photographer of Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery LLC. She was recently voted best photographer 2012.
Headquartered in Frederiksted at Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery, St. Croix VI, Elegant St. Croix Caribbean Weddings is the island’s newest on-line and print magazine focusing on weddings in St. Croix USVI. It offers a unique perspective on the views of wedding planning.

Families come out and meet the artists, network and become inspired. May 27 is a Sunday and May 28 is Memorial Day and a holiday – bring your children to talk to the artists to be inspired. The exhibit is being held at Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery located on 16A Queen St. Frederiksted. It is usually only open by appointment. However, on May 27 and May 28 it will be open to the public from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. Bring the children to see a professional photography gallery. Come and enjoy a moment in time!
