Scotiabank Frederiksted Branch No Service To Regular Customers

Scotiabank in Frederiksted St. Croix US Virgin Islands has decided not to service their regular customers in Frederiksted and to turn Frederiksted Branch into a Loan Servicing Center Only. So any one that have used the Frederiksted branch for many years now have to handle their business at the Sunny Isle Branch.

Scotiabank claim it is because of the shut down of  Hovensa refinery in St. Croix. They also claim that for their customer’s convenience there will be two ATMs available at the Frederiksted Branch. Actually we feel that our convenience has been taken away by the move and a disservice to Frederiksted customers and those who come to port of Frederiksted on a Cruise Ship.

Decisions has to be made – to travel to Sunny Isle to speak to a customer service representative or select a Bank with full service in Frederiksted or Sunshine Mall.
