Congratulations to University of the Virgin Islands Graduates
Good Morning! Congratulations to University of the Virgin Islands Graduates! April 13, 2012, I attended the Forty-Eight Annual Commencement exercise at UVI on St. Croix. I was invited by the “Inclusive Early Childhood” Graduates. It was wonderful!
I would like to give special congratulations to the “Inclusive Early Childhood” Graduates. It was great to see the first set of Bachelor of Arts graduates from this program. I am particularly proud because I helped develop the curriculum for the Bachelor of Arts Degree in “Inclusive Early Childhood” in the School of Education for University of the Virgin Islands. I also taught several of the courses for the students who graduated in “Inclusive Early Childhood” program. It demonstrates that hard work and determination pays off. Again, congratulations!
Keynote address by Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum was right on the mark and she was awarded an Honorary Doctoral Degree. Also congratulations to Virgin Islands Delegate to Congress, Dr. Donna M. Christensen whom was awarded an Honorary Doctoral Degree. I wish all continued success in the future. Have a great week.
